GB News presenter Patrick Christys has shared an adorable snap of his newborn son, prompting fans to flood the photo’s comment section with sweet replies.
Last month, Patrick and his wife, fellow GB News fan-favourite Emily Carver, welcomed “happy and healthy” George.
George Alexander Peter Christys was welcomed into the world by the couple at 5.26am on Friday, September 5.
Taking to social media, Patrick said at the time: “He’s a very happy, healthy, much-loved little boy, and the beautiful Emily Carver was amazing throughout.
“Life lesson #1 George: Always love and respect your mother.”
Emily added: “Little bit of news!! Our little tiny baby George has arrived.”
A few weeks on, and in a new, similarly heartwarming update, Patrick has shared a picture showing him sleeping in bed next to his adorable son.
He captioned the post with sleeping emojis, writing: “The calm before the storm.”
The wholesome moment captured the hearts of fans, with many sharing their reactions to the adorable post in the comments.
One wrote: “Aww. Such a gorgeous little boy.”
A second added a gushing post, admiring both the photo and the presenter’s work for the People’s Channel.
“This is such a beautiful photo, watching tonight on GB News, seriously, your poignancy and propriety is astonishing,” they said. “You either need to be heading up GB News or (please do) turning your hand to a political career. Wishing you and Emily; and baby, every success, good health and happiness.”
“Awhhh gorgeous family,” another echoed while someone else penned: “Awwww that’s such a lovely photo.”
“Like father, like son. At least when they are asleep you get some peace,” a different fan joked before a sixth weighed in: “No time like family time.”
“Omg so adorable. Such a wonderful picture,” one more beamed.
The GB News couple officially introduced baby George to GBN viewers on September 22 when they brought the tot to the studio.
The couple looked relaxed and happy as they reflected on their first few weeks of parenthood, with Patrick saying he was “so proud” of his wife during the birth.
