A Tragic Catalyst and the Fall of Raq
The finale delivered a masterclass in emotional turbulence as Raq attempted to escape the drug trade through an FBI witness protection program, hoping to take Kanan with her. Although mother and son shared a rare, heartfelt moment of peace, the truce was short-lived. In a brutal twist driven by grief and vengeance over Marvin’s death, Jukebox executed Raq, sealing her own transformation into the cold-hearted villain fans first encountered in the original Power series.
Raq’s death leaves Kanan completely isolated, erasing any remaining mercy within him and pushing him toward his ultimate destiny alongside his street partner, Breeze.
