A mother has allegedly killed her two young children after shooting at her husband and another woman at a bar in a horrifying murder-suicide.

Andrea Clarice Davis, 38, is accused of opening fire on her husband, Nolan Davis, 39, and a 36-year-old woman at Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill in Glendale, Arizona, in the early hours of the morning.

According to police, Davis then drove to their home in Phoenix, where she killed her two children — 18-month-old Andolan and 10-year-old Austin — before taking her own life.

Authorities say Davis began her violent spree by firing at her husband of 12 years at the bar. The 36-year-old woman was shot in the back of the head as she tried to flee. She was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Nolan Davis was not injured. Police have not identified the woman or disclosed whether she had any relationship with him. However, a friend of Davis claimed the mother-of-two was convinced her husband was cheating.

After the bar shooting, Davis drove approximately two miles to the family home and texted her husband, threatening to harm their children. She allegedly sent him a graphic photo showing one of the children bleeding from the head.

Nolan immediately reported the threat to officers at the scene of the bar shooting. Police rushed to the residence, forced entry, and discovered the bodies of Davis and her two children inside.

Glendale police spokesperson Jose Santiago said: “Because we already knew this was a dire situation, officers forced their way into the home, and that’s when they encountered this horrific situation.”

A friend of the alleged killer, Amy Bowers, told AZFamily that Davis had been driven to despair by suspicions that Nolan was having an affair with a co-worker.

“This relationship … completely made her lose her mind,” Bowers said. “They haven’t had anything like this come up before. And so I think the shock of that is just a lot for her. She was just not feeling good. And she’s been asking for help from everybody. Like it’s not been secret.”

Police have not confirmed whether Nolan Davis was cheating. Santiago stated: “We do know that they were familiar with one another, and there was some type of relationship. How familiar and what type of relationship, that’s unknown at this time.”

An investigation into both the bar shooting and the murder-suicide is ongoing.
