Trump Blasted For ‘Hiding On Golf Course’ As Texas Flood Death Toll Hits 70, 11 Girls Missing – The Woman With Him Stuns All

Donald Trump has been accused of hiding on the golf course after 70 people, including 28 children, perished in flash floods in Texas while his wife was seen trying to leave his speech.

Trump has spent 22.5% of his time in office on the golf course

US President Donald Trump has come under fire for reportedly hitting the golf course once more, just as Texas reels from devastating flash floods that have claimed the lives of 70 people, including 28 children.

Trump frequently spends a considerable amount of time at some of his most renowned clubs, such as Trump International Golf Club, Bedminster, and Trump National Doral, Miami. According to his public schedule, he is set to leave Bedminster, New Jersey – where one of his preferred courses is situated – at 5 pm local time on Sunday.

This move comes as rescue teams persist in their search through mangled trees and debris along the swollen Guadalupe River, in a mission that is becoming increasingly desperate as they strive to locate survivors.

The death toll in Texas is still rising

The flooding in Kerr County has resulted in at least 43 fatalities, including 15 children, while at least eight people have perished in nearby counties.

Meanwhile, Melania was spotted attempting to exit Trump’s lengthy balcony speech.

The authorities have yet to disclose the exact number of missing individuals, apart from the 27 children from Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp. To date, five girls are known to have lost their lives after their cabin was swept away, including “best friends” Lila Bonner and Eloise Peck, reports the Irish Star.

The other three girls who tragically died are Janie Hunt, Renee Smajstrla, and Sarah Marsh.

The rapid, destructive waters rose a staggering 26 feet (8 meters) on the Guadalupe River in a mere 45 minutes, ravaging homes and vehicles in their path. Furthermore, the danger is far from over, as persistent rains continue to batter communities outside San Antonio, with flash flood warnings and watches still in effect.

Trump’s reaction to the disaster has been heavily criticised as insensitive and tone-deaf, with online critics accusing the president of prioritising golf over the victims in Texas.

One individual posted on social media: “Trump is partially responsible for what happened due to his cuts to related government agencies. Even Texas officials are saying it. And instead of visiting Texas, he’s off playing golf. That’s how much he cares. ‘The party’ is not a handful of jerks on Twitter.”

Another person commented: “Trump is hiding on his golf course while there’s a disaster in Central Texas.”

A third person said: “Did Trump express his devotion to Texas before, during or after he played golf?”.

A further critic remarked: “20+ INNOCENT CHILDREN WERE SWEPT AWAY IN A FLASH FLOOD IN TEXAS — WHERE WAS AMERICAS PRESIDENT — DONALD TRUMP WAS PLAYING GOLF! ! ! !”.

Expressing their outrage on X, another individual stated: “Tragic news coming from Texas this morning. 43 bodies recovered from the flash floods 15 of which are children and they haven’t stopped searching. While all that was happening Trump was dancing on a balcony at the WH and is now playing golf.”

According to Trump Golf Track, during Trump’s 167 days in office, he has spent 38 days on the golf course, which accounts for 22.75% of his time as the country’s leader.

On Saturday, the US military reported that five aircraft violated restricted airspace over Trump’s New Jersey golf club.

A US F-16 fighter jet intercepted a general aviation aircraft that breached the temporary restriction.

The US military oversees the airspace surrounding the president, including over Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort or his Bedminster golf course, when he is present.
