Inside the Beautiful Portuguese Wedding of Perrie Edwards and Soccer Star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Months After Welcoming Baby No. 2
The entertainment and sports worlds are celebrating after Little Mix superstar Perrie Edwards and professional soccer player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain officially tied the knot. The stunning 32-year-old power couple said “I do” on Saturday, June 13, 2026, during a beautiful ceremony in Portugal.
The intimate wedding was held at the historic, 16th-century Catholic church named Igreja Matriz de Estoi, located in the charming village of Estoi in Faro. According to photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the gorgeous bride made a spectacular entrance, stepping out of a vintage white Mercedes convertible.
Edwards looked absolutely radiant wearing a magnificent lace wedding gown featuring elegant long sleeves. Meanwhile, Oxlade-Chamberlain sported a classic black suit accessorized with a sharp calla lily boutonniere as he walked into the church.
The groom was accompanied by his father Mark Chamberlain, his brother Christian, and a few of his closest friends. After the couple officially exchanged their vows, their loved ones gathered outside to shower them with white flower petals.
The joyful guests watched the newlyweds make their way down the church steps, which were heavily decorated with flower arrangements and a matching white aisle runner. This beautiful milestone comes exactly four years after the couple announced their beachside engagement in June 2022.
At the time, Edwards shared sunset photographs on Instagram with the sweet caption, “Last night the love of my life got down on one knee and I said… YES.” While Edwards’ former Little Mix bandmates were not spotted in any of the wedding photos, they have always showered the couple with immense love.
During their engagement, Leigh-Anne Pinnock commented, “Best news! So happy for you both,” while Jade Thirlwall added a crying and heart emoji. The beautiful wedding celebration comes just months after the couple welcomed their second baby together, a daughter named Alanis Valentine.
Edwards had previously revealed a sweet black-and-white photo of their newborn, showing their 4-year-old son, Axel, resting a hand on his new baby sister. Their former bandmates had once again rushed to congratulate the family, with Thirlwall calling the newborn a “perfect little angel” as the couple built their beautiful path toward the altar.
