🚨Glam Fitness Influencer, 28, Dies in Horror Head-On Crash After High-Speed Police Chase — One of Seven Killed as Car Packed with 137kg of Cannabis Smashing Into Oncoming Traffic
A popular Brazilian fitness influencer was among seven people killed in a devastating head-on collision during a high-speed police pursuit on a major highway in Minas Gerais state.
Alana Alves da Silva, 28, known online as Vampira 085, died at the scene on the BR-251 highway near the town of Salinas on Saturday, August 8, 2026. She had built a following of nearly 60,000 on Instagram and TikTok by posting workout tips, healthy lifestyle content, comedy sketches, and promoting her online fitness fashion shop from her home in Fortaleza, Ceará.
The crash occurred after Federal Highway Police attempted to stop a Fiat Cronos near kilometre 314. The driver ignored the order and fled at high speed. The pursuit lasted roughly 10 kilometres. During the escape the driver made dangerous manoeuvres, including overtaking several vehicles on a curve by crossing into the opposing lane. The Fiat then collided head-on with a Chevrolet Astra travelling in the opposite direction at kilometre 304.
Alana was one of four occupants in the Fiat. The suspected driver, Pedro Yan Linhares Gutierrez, 24, and another passenger, Ramon Silverio Nogueira, 19, were taken to hospital but later died from their injuries. A 20-year-old woman survived but remains in critical condition with severe head injuries and multiple fractures.
All four men in the Astra — Argemiro Machado da Silva, 79; Valmir Machado da Silva, 76; Alcides Silva Santos, 77; and Gilmar Bispo dos Santos, 46 — were killed.
Police later discovered approximately 137 kilograms of cannabis, packed in more than 160 tablets, inside the Fiat. Authorities stated that Gutierrez did not hold a valid driving licence, was wearing an electronic monitoring ankle tag, and already faced drug trafficking charges.
The highway was closed in the aftermath as emergency services worked at the scene. Bodies were taken for identification and forensic examination before being released to families. Civil Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the pursuit and the collision.
The tragedy highlights the extreme risks of high-speed vehicle pursuits, particularly when a driver flees with a large quantity of drugs. Innocent motorists travelling in the opposite direction paid the ultimate price, as did several people inside the fleeing car. Alana’s online community, which followed her fitness and lifestyle posts, has expressed shock at the sudden loss of a young content creator whose public image centred on health and motivation.
Investigators are examining how the chase unfolded, the decisions made during the pursuit, and the full background of those involved in the drug transport. The case remains under active investigation by Brazilian authorities.
