Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated wedding guest list will reportedly include one notably debated friend who was reportedly at risk of being excluded.

According to a May 30 report from the Daily Mail, supermodel Karlie Kloss’ invitation was in doubt. However, TMZ reported on Tuesday that a source confirmed Kloss will indeed be invited.

The “Bad Blood” singer, 36, is expected to marry Travis Kelce, also 36, on or around July 3.

Representatives for Swift and Kloss did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

A source told the Daily Mail that Swift has experienced strain in some friendships “for various reasons,” and that the superstar “wants to be surrounded by those who can genuinely share the love and meaning of the day,” particularly people who have played important roles in her life for years.

Kloss, 33, and Swift first became friends in 2013. The pair made joint appearances in music videos, attended concerts together, and spent time at each other’s homes.

Their relationship reportedly hit a rough patch in 2018 when Kloss married Joshua Kushner. Swift did not attend the wedding, citing “work commitments.” Notably, Kloss’ then-manager, Scooter Braun, was a guest.

In June 2019, Braun acquired Swift’s early catalog of albums in a deal that the pop star has said left her feeling “grossed out,” ultimately leading her to re-record several of her albums.

The source told the Daily Mail that Swift “came to believe that Karlie’s intentions were not as genuine as she once thought,” and that the friendship had become “more about proximity to Taylor’s fame than a real bond.”

However, TMZ’s sources say the two have resolved their differences, and Kloss will be included on the guest list.

Speculation surrounding the Kelce-Swift wedding guest list has been intense.

Stars who have reportedly received invitations include Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Suki Waterhouse, Gigi Hadid, and Selena Gomez.

Meanwhile, Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Sperry, were not invited after an apparent falling out with the couple, Page Six recently confirmed.
