Terrified Mum Reveals Panicked Final Call With ‘Little Girl’ Hours Before Dubai Stabbing – Begs Authorities: Don’t Execute My Daughter!

A devastated British mother has made an emotional public plea after her 23-year-old daughter, TikTok influencer Brooke George from Gravesend, Kent, was charged with premeditated murder in Dubai and now faces the terrifying prospect of execution by firing squad.
According to statements from her family and the advocacy group Detained in Dubai, Brooke met a 26-year-old British man online (reported in some accounts as Bill Treeby) and travelled to the UAE to pursue the relationship. What began as an exciting trip quickly turned nightmarish. Brooke claims she was subjected to repeated physical assaults, including being punched in the face, leaving her bruised and terrified. In the midst of a violent altercation at a luxury apartment, she says she feared for her life, reached for a kitchen knife in self-defence, and the man later died from stab wounds.
Brooke’s mother, Thereza George, has shared harrowing details of a frantic phone call she received from her daughter in the immediate aftermath. She described speaking to a “utterly terrified” young woman who was crying uncontrollably, with one eye badly swollen and beginning to close. “The daughter I spoke to that night was absolutely frightened. I have never seen my daughter so scared in my life,” Thereza said. She believes Brooke was desperately trying to retrieve her passport and flee home after the incident.
The case has sparked international concern over self-defence rights, domestic violence, and the treatment of foreign nationals in the UAE’s justice system. Human rights advocates argue that the circumstances point to an abusive situation rather than premeditated murder, urging Dubai authorities to consider the context of alleged domestic violence and grant bail while the full investigation proceeds. Brooke, a former John Lewis worker with a significant social media following, had reportedly visited Dubai twice in connection with the relationship. Family members noted that her behaviour changed noticeably after the second trip.
Dubai maintains strict laws on violent crimes, and premeditated murder carries severe penalties, including the possibility of death by firing squad. However, self-defence claims and mitigating factors such as abuse can influence outcomes, though the process for foreigners can be complex and lengthy. The UK government has confirmed it is providing consular support to Brooke and her family.
This tragic story highlights the dangers of online relationships that turn abusive and the high stakes faced by British nationals entangled in overseas legal systems. As Brooke remains in custody, her mother’s desperate plea echoes the fears of many: “Don’t make my little girl face the firing squad.” Supporters have launched fundraising efforts to cover legal costs and travel for the family, hoping to secure a fair hearing that fully examines the evidence of assault and self-defence.
The case continues to develop, with calls growing for transparency and compassion in handling potential victims of domestic violence abroad. For now, a young woman’s life hangs in the balance between justice, mercy, and the hope of returning home.
