Police have located the three boys who disappeared from a New Jersey train station on Friday after finding them in Stamford, Connecticut.
Montville Township Police Department Chief Andrew Caggiano told Fox News Digital that Brayden Morrissey, 14, Dominic Diliberto, 14, and William Connolly, 17, left an undisclosed location in Montville Township, New Jersey, on Thursday night.
Authorities launched an extensive search using K-9 units and drones before transitioning the case into a missing persons investigation after determining the boys had left the area.
The three were last seen at the Denville Train Station around 5:30 p.m. Friday. They were later spotted by Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) officers at a train station in Stamford on Saturday afternoon.
When officers approached the group in Stamford, Connolly was taken into protective custody, while the two 14-year-olds ran from the scene.
Just after 8 p.m. Saturday, Caggiano confirmed to Fox News Digital that the two younger boys had also been found in Stamford.
According to Caggiano, the boys appeared to have left voluntarily. It remains unclear when they will be reunited with their parents.
