MSNBC’s Anchor says Trump’s ‘trapped in his stupidity’ after meeting – But Trump’s Next Move Leaves us Stunned!

MSNBC anchor Lawrence O’Donnell has launched another scathing tirade against President Donald Trump, this time criticising his response to the US’s war aid for Ukraine.

Lawrence O’Donnell, the seasoned MSNBC anchor, has hit out yet again at President Donald Trump.

The presenter has claimed Trump is “trapped in his stupidity” as he slammed the Republican leader after giving a series of disastrous answers about military aid to Ukraine. Speaking during his The Last Word segment, O’Donnell reacted to the President’s blasé answer of “I haven’t thought about it” when asked who chose to halt weapons shipments to the country fighting off Russian invasion.
Speaking to TV viewers in his second rant in two days, O’Donnell slammed Trump as he said, “If there’s a shred of truth in anything that Donald Trump said, it would be, ‘Well, I haven’t thought about it.’ And that is the truth of everything Donald Trump does and doesn’t do as president.”

He continued, “It takes Trumpian stupidity to say something like that. And when you’re as stupid as Donald Trump, you have no idea how stupid your stupidity sounds. Donald Trump is trapped in his stupidity.

“There is no way he can fake being smart about anything, not even his lifetime passion and supposed area of greatest expertise golf, which he simply lies about.”

He also then slammed Trump again for his “colossal stupidity” after he replied “I don’t know, you tell me” when quizzed by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins.

The show also dissected more of Wednesday’s press briefing at The White House including when The New York Times’ Shawn McCreesh asked Trump if he had figured out who paused the weapons shipments to Ukraine. Trump answered, I haven’t thought about it, because we’re looking at Ukraine right now and munitions, but no, I’ve not gone into it.”

Hitting out at the answer, O’Donnell fumed, “If you don’t think that string of English words made any sense, you are correct. It did not make any sense.”

The rant comes just days after he branded the President a “spoiled brat” as he disclosed documents sent by the Trump administration to leaders across the globe regarding tariffs and trade.

Heads of state from Thailand, Cambodia, Serbia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, South Africa, Laos, India, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, and Tunisia were all recipients as the administration pushes to revamp trade agreements with a fresh deadline looming.

In his monologue, O’Donnell dissected the letters, scrutinizing everything from their wording and grammar to their format, and even called out what he termed “lies” from the US President and his team.

O’Donnell was particularly critical of the letters’ mention of an August 1 deadline, denouncing the administration’s tactics as “fake.”

He told his audience, “It’s all fake. There’s no deadline. It’s a self-imposed landmark in this theatrical show, and that’s where we are.”

He went on to say, “The letter says we will charge Japan, South Korea, or another country a tariff of only 25 percent on any and all products sent into the United States. And that is a lie. And everyone receiving that letter knows it’s a lie.”

He then cautioned that tariff charges would be inevitably passed on to “people in America who buy that product and bring that product into the country.” He then added, “This is something the entire world knows.”
