Titled ‘Suspect: Kate McCann’, the feature-length film is set to pull back the curtain on one of the most controversial chapters in British legal history: the intense, high-stakes 48-hour period when Kate McCann was declared a formal suspect by Portuguese authorities.

The announcement has already sparked a firestorm of debate online, as the public grapples with the ethics of dramatizing a case where the victim remains missing.

Inside the Interview Room

The 90-minute special, produced by Orchard Studios, focuses on July 2007—three months after Madeleine vanished from Praia da Luz. What began as a routine follow-up interview rapidly devolved into a hostile confrontation.
