In a heartwarming festive coup that’s got tails wagging nationwide, the stars of Lincoln-based charity Pumpkin and Friends made a triumphant appearance on ITV’s This Morning on December 10, 2025. Founder Tammie Fox, alongside volunteers Victoria Knox and Kersty Marchant, brought their inspirational disabled dogs—Pumpkin, Chester, and Sergio—to the sofa, delighting hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley while promoting their charity single Wheelie Good Christmas.

The adorable trio, all using custom wheelchairs to support their hind legs, showcased incredible resilience and joy. Pumpkin, the paralysed Westie who inspired the charity, rolled in with her signature charm, joined by Chester and Sergio. The segment highlighted how these “wheelie good friends” live full, happy lives despite disabilities, captivating viewers and sparking an outpouring of support.

The real magic? Their charity single, A Wheelie Good Christmas by Foxy & The Bloggers—featuring the dogs’ “pawsonalities” and drummer Rob Hewins —rocketed to number one on the iTunes chart. Released in late November, the upbeat festive track celebrates mobility, second chances, and holiday cheer, with proceeds aiding disabled animals.

Since the This Morning spotlight, the charity has been flooded with inquiries from pet owners seeking help. Tammie Fox, 45, described the experience as a “crazy ride,” emphasizing how the exposure raises awareness for animals often overlooked. Volunteer Victoria Knox, a hair salon owner whose dog Chester benefited from the charity’s support, called the live TV appearance “amazing” despite nerves—praising the smooth process and the chance to represent the disabled dog community.

Pumpkin and Friends Charity, based in Lincolnshire, provides wheelchairs, strollers, rehabilitation funding, and veterinary support for disabled animals across the UK. From a wheelchair fitting center to a charity shop in Lincoln, they’ve helped over 112 animals, proving disability is no barrier to a joyful life.

The single’s success mirrors growing public affection for these furry ambassadors. Available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and more, it’s challenging traditional Christmas hits with its uplifting message. Fans can even snag limited-edition merch bundles, including CDs and T-shirts.

As the holiday season peaks, this story reminds us of true festive spirit: kindness, inclusivity, and a little wheelie magic. Ben and Cat were visibly charmed, with the dogs stealing the show—proving once again that some stars shine brightest on four (or wheeled) paws.
