Kehlani Rogers, the 3-year-old Arizona girl who was reported missing on Friday, Feb. 20, has been found, and a suspect has been taken into custody.

After a community member reported that they saw Kehlani and her suspected abductor, 23-year-old Marina Noriega, in Phoenix, authorities responded and located both, according to a news release from the Avondale Police Department (APD).

The pair was found in a QuikTrip gas station on Sunday, Feb. 22, local news outlets AZFamily and KTAR reported.

Police said Kehlani was “found safe and in good health,” and investigators “do not believe that she was harmed during the ordeal.”

Noriega is now in police custody and is set to be booked on charges relating to the incident, per the APD. Specific charges were not revealed.

The APD and the Phoenix Police Department (PPD) did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment on Feb. 22.

Rogers was last seen at her home in Avondale at approximately 11:30 p.m. local time on Feb. 20, the APD initially announced in a post on Facebook.

An AMBER alert was issued following the child’s disappearance. It has since been canceled, police said.

Authorities identified Noriega as a suspect in the child’s disappearance when the pair was spotted together in Maricopa on Saturday, Feb. 21.

“This evening, detectives acted on one of the many tips provided by our community, leading to the identification of a suspect: Mariana Noriega,” the APD said on Facebook. “Surveillance footage from a local business confirmed that Noriega was last seen today in the City of Maricopa, Ariz., with the victim, Kehlani Rogers.”

In a photo of surveillance footage provided by police, Rogers could be seen wearing purple pajamas with multicolored smiley faces.

Noriega, described as a White woman of short stature and thin build with brown hair, wore black and white tank tops with pink fuzzy pants.

Authorities confirmed to 12 News that Noriega is not a family member of Rogers.

It is unclear if Noriega currently has legal representation to comment on her behalf.
