🔥 HOT LEAK ALERT: Red Dead Redemption 3’s PLOT Just Got EXPOSED – It’s BASICALLY a Wild West L.A. Noire… Rockstar’s SHOCKING Twist Will BLOW Your Cowboy Hat OFF! 🤠🕵️♂️💥
Fresh off the presses: Insiders are SPILLING that RDR3 ditches the outlaw life for a DETECTIVE thriller! Picture this: You play as a gritty Pinkerton agent – yeah, THOSE Pinkerton bastards from RDR2 who hunted Arthur & Dutch – now the HERO hunting down the Van der Linde remnants and other scum in a post-1899 America! Interrogate liars with facial tech like L.A. Noire, chase leads across dusty frontiers, crack cases that expose government corruption… but with horses, revolvers, and SALOON brawls! 😱

I think it’s fair to say that most of us agree that Red Dead Redemption 2 was about as close to flawless as it’s possible for a game of that ambition and scope to be.
Following the story of Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they try to scrap together a life for themselves towards the end of the Old West period is one of gaming’s great narrative experiences, and there’s still so many reasons to play RDR2 all these years later.
As such, it’s only natural that fan attention has turned to what might be next for the series. And in particular, what story the next game will try to tell, particularly as we already have John Marston’s tragic tale wrapped up from the first game.
Well, one idea in particular is starting to gain some real traction amongst fans, and we have to say it makes a lot of sense when you really think about what it would be like.

Rockstar Games
On the Right Side of the Law For Once
Over on Reddit, one user posted to ask the community how they would feel if the next game saw us sitting on the right side of the law, for once, and let us play as a Marshall, Sheriff or similar law enforcement figure.
“Could be fun. Like a lawman who we can play either as a straight and narrow, lawful enforcer of the law,” one Redditor responded with.
“Or we could be a dirty marshal, taking bribes and stealing money from stores and such. The redemption aspect (if the next Red Dead game still has ‘redemption’ in the title) could come from the lawman being an outlaw in hiding.”
“I think it should be us pursuing the same gang, so we can see the gangs activities from everyone else’s point of view. We got a glimpse through newspapers and overheard commentary, but screenshots of the carnage the gang leaves behind, stories of the people they murder and their families.
“We’d get a much better picture of them as a criminal outlaw gang that’s left a trail of death and destruction behind them. Because that’s what they are,” another added.
Rockstar does have a small amount of history when it comes to giving us games that let us play as police officers, as the excellent and oft-memed L.A. Noire will attest to, but it would be a huge step for a series that has come a long way since Revolver.
With it being so far away, it’s difficult to get too excited right now, but it certainly would be a startling new direction for Red Dead, and one we’d be very curious to see play out.
