Cardi B is a mom of four! The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 33, welcomed her first child with boyfriend Stefon Diggs on Wednesday, November 13, 2025 – a healthy baby boy named Storm Zion Diggs. Cardi broke the news herself in a raw, tear-streaked Instagram video from her hospital bed in Atlanta, holding the newborn while Diggs, 31, beamed proudly beside her.

“Storm is here and he’s perfect,” Cardi captioned the post, which already has 42 million likes in under 24 hours. “My heart is so full. Thank you God for this blessing. @stefondiggs you did that daddy.” The clip shows the Patriots wide receiver cutting the cord and whispering “I love you” as little Storm let out his first cry.

The couple first confirmed the pregnancy in September during a joint interview on The Breakfast Club, where Cardi joked, “I told Stefon one more touchdown and we making a baby – guess he listened!” Diggs, who was traded to New England in March, has been by her side throughout, even missing a walkthrough practice last week when Cardi’s water broke early.

This is Cardi’s fourth child – she shares Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 14 months, with ex-husband Offset – and Diggs’ third (he has daughter Nova, 9, and Charliee Harper, born earlier this year). Sources say the blended family is “thriving,” with Kulture already calling the newborn “my little brother” and planning to design his first custom bonnet.

Cardi delivered via C-section at Emory University Hospital after a high-risk pregnancy that saw her hospitalized twice for blood pressure issues. “I was scared,” she admitted in the video. “But Stefon held my hand the whole time and prayed with me. This man is my rock.”

Diggs posted his own tribute Friday morning: a black-and-white photo of Storm’s tiny hand wrapped around his finger, captioned “My son. My legacy. Storm Zion Diggs 11/13/25.” Patriots teammates flooded the comments – Drake Maye wrote “Welcome to the squad lil man,” while owner Robert Kraft sent a massive floral arrangement shaped like a football.

The name choice has fans buzzing – “Storm” continues Cardi’s weather-themed tradition (her sister is Hennessy Carolina, and she has a tattoo that reads “Calm before the storm”), while “Zion” is a nod to Diggs’ biblical middle name and his Jamaican roots. Cardi’s mom was in the delivery room and reportedly cried when she heard it.

Offset has stayed silent on social media, but sources say he sent flowers and a text congratulating the couple. The Migos rapper and Cardi finalized their divorce in February 2025 with a surprisingly amicable co-parenting agreement.

Cardi is already planning her postpartum comeback – insiders say she’ll perform at the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show if the Patriots make it (fingers crossed for Diggs). For now, though, she’s soaking up newborn snuggles and plotting Storm’s first designer diaper bag.

Welcome to the world, Storm Zion Diggs – the newest member of hip-hop and NFL royalty.
