On September 11, 2025, social media posts on Instagram and other platforms showed that Lil Baby’s label, WolfPack Global Music, had reportedly announced his retirement from music.

Lil Baby has built a discography that includes four studio albums, one collaborative album, six mixtapes including two collaborative ones, and two compilation albums. Along with that, he has released a very large number of singles both as a lead artist and as a featured artist.

Over his career, he has sold tens of millions of digital units in the United States and earned multiple number one albums on the Billboard 200 as well as dozens of entries on the Billboard Hot 100. His early career was shaped by mixtapes such as Perfect Timing in 2017, Harder Than Hard in 2017, and Too Hard in 2017. He also collaborated with Marlo on 2 The Hard Way in the same year. These projects helped him establish his name in Atlanta’s rap scene.

In 2018 he released his debut studio album Harder Than Ever which featured the breakout hit “Yes Indeed” with Drake. The same year he teamed up with Gunna for the joint project Drip Harder, which produced the massive single “Drip Too Hard.” He closed out 2018 with the mixtape Street Gossip which kept his momentum strong. In 2020 Lil Baby released My Turn, which was a career-defining album and one of the year’s biggest rap projects. It included hits like “Woah,” “Sum 2 Prove,” and “Emotionally Scarred,” and it cemented him as a mainstream star. In 2021 he collaborated with Lil Durk on the joint album The Voice of the Heroes, which debuted at number one.

In 2022 he returned with his third solo album It’s Only Me, another project that performed strongly on the charts. His most recent solo studio album before 2025 was It’s Only Me, followed by WHAM in January 2025. Among his most notable singles are “My Dawg,” which was one of his early breakout songs, “Yes Indeed” with Drake, “Drip Too Hard” with Gunna, and “The Bigger Picture,” which was a socially conscious track released in 2020. These, along with many guest appearances, built his reputation as one of the most consistent hitmakers of his generation.
