It seems Bills Mafia didn’t get the opportunity to welcome Taylor Swift back to Western New York.

The pop superstar, 35, appeared to skip Kansas City’s 28-21 loss Sunday against Buffalo, with fiancé Travis Kelce’s Chiefs falling to improve to 5-4.

Swift, who announced her engagement to Kelce, 36, over the summer, famously attended the Chiefs’ Divisional Round road playoff matchup against the Bills in January 2024, when future brother-in-law Jason Kelce became one with the Bills’ fanbase as Kansas City’s run to the Super Bowl continued in the 27-24 road win.

The Chiefs went on to win the championship contest weeks later, downing the 49ers in a 25-22 overtime victory in Las Vegas with Swift in attendance.

Swift, whose relationship with Kelce was first revealed during the 2023 season, has taken an under-the-radar approach to games this year after previously stepping out publicly.

The Daily Mail reported earlier this week that the “Life of a Showgirl” singer is keeping a low profile amid security concerns.

Swift was seen in a private box at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday with Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, during the team’s 28-7 win over the Commanders. She has primarily attended home games this season.

The Chiefs-Bills rivalry has become one of the NFL’s marquee matchups in recent years.

Buffalo topped Kansas City in the regular season last November, 30-21, with the Chiefs getting their revenge in the postseason, a thrilling 32-29 win in January’s AFC Championship game.

Kansas City would go on to lose Super Bowl 2025 to Philadelphia, 40-22.
