Question Time presenter Fiona Bruce was called out by TalkTV star James Whale in a new “bias” row.

TalkTV star and Express columnist James Whale has hit out at BBC’s Question Time presenter Fiona Bruce after the latest episode of the political panel show. He posted on X: “Fabulous the way Fiona and gang on question time so obviously left-wing labour supporting lovers I am absolutely amazed the Bbc gets away with it. Can’t wait to be back on Talk speaking the truth.”

His followers took to the post to agree with him, as one said: “Totally agree. I watched tonight for the first time in a long time and it’s was disgraceful biased. Clearly 3 left wing plants in the front row. There is embarrass Zia of reform. Shameful.” Another agreed: “It’s laughable. She’s embarrassing,” as a third chimed in: “@bbcquestiontime is not fit for purpose anymore. Biased to its core.”

James’ comment comes as Chief Secretary to the Treasury Darren Jones claimed “the majority of the people in these [small migrant] boats are children, babies and women”. Reform UK’s Zia Yusuf was quick to interject as he said “more than 90% of them are adult men”.

Fiona then asked Jones “you’re saying that’s not true?” as he replied: “I’m saying it’s not true. “I’m saying this is controversial for a reason and you’re told you’re not supposed to challenge the audience on Question Time, but I’m going to.

“When there are babies and children put into that position by human trafficking gangs, who are coming across the Channel with skin burns from the oil from those boats mixing with the salt sea water, I would ask any of you to look at those babies and children and say ‘go back’.

Yusuf raged: “In my previous answer, I made the case that this Government prioritises foreign citizens over citizens of the United Kingdom. After that testimony, I can rest my case.

“The vast, vast majority of people making the journey from France by small boat are fighting age, military age, males, not women and children.”

James also responded to the argument as he penned: “Watching question time at! Everybody knows that women and children are very very seldom on these boats from France mainly they are young men of a military age who are coming here to improve their lives possibly even join our harmed forces who knows until we get to the stage We’re different cultures Clair.

“We are paying France millions to stop people breaking into our country. It’s their responsibility. They can’t control their borders so we have to do it for them. The best thing would be for us to get our brilliant men and women of the military to take these people back.

“And if the French don’t like it then we fall out with a friend for awhile I won’t dislike it for long and in the meantime we ask for our millions back and start away of sending the people who came here illegally and I still hear back if we actually put our mind and realise that without some of these countries acting in a resilient And protective manner hours lead this will continue on and I can’t it has to stop.”
