Al Roker proves it’s never a dull day to work with him at the Today show!

While the TV host is primarily known for sharing the latest weather updates, viewers love his on-air antics with his fellow co-hosts. Well, Al proved he loves to get the last laugh … even when he’s not supposed to be working that day!

As folks watched the November 4 broadcast, they saw Craig Melvin, Sheinelle Jones, and Dylan Dreyer interview Broadway star Jordan Litzabout running in the New York City Marathon two days prior. While Jordan discussed running the race and then doing two performances of Wicked (he’s currently playing Fiyero) on the same day, Craig caught Al lurking right outside the window of Studio 1A. What’s more, Craig had to call out Al for seemingly crashing the show, despite taking the day off.

“I gotta be honest with you. It’s hard to keep track and focus because this guy,” Craig shouted in a clip posted on YouTube. “We’re doing a show!”

“Thanks for coming in to work today, buddy!” Sheinelle chimed in, upon realizing what Al was up to.

Even though it seemed a bit odd to find Al outside the studio and not working, the hosts clarified that there was a good reason for it. As it turned out, Al had been working on an off-site assignment and decided to pop up in this unique manner instead. Regardless of Al’s intentions, Craig, Sheinelle, and Dylan definitely saw the silliness in the distraction.

“He looks so creepy,” Dylan added.

“Al Roker. He could come in to work today, but he could hang outside the studio,” Craig commented.

As soon as fans saw Al’s unexpected interactions with his fellow Todaycast members, they all couldn’t stop laughing at how he surprised them.

“Al haunting the interview LOL,” one person wrote in the comments on YouTube. “Lol at Al Roker outside,” another cracked up. “Somebody get Al Roker 😫😂,” a different follower added.

After this, we can’t help but wonder what else Al has in store for us!
