An Austrian beauty influencer was found dead and stuffed inside a suitcase in a remote forest after her ex-boyfriend allegedly strangled her.

Stefanie Pieper’s body was discovered in the Slovenian wilderness on Friday, nearly a week after she went missing.

The 31-year-old vanished after returning home from a Christmas party on Nov. 23.

Pieper’s ex-boyfriend, also 31, allegedly confessed to strangling her and led police to where he dumped her body in the forest, Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung reported.

The social media beauty was reported missing by relatives and colleagues when she missed a scheduled photo shoot and “could not be reached”, according to Styrian State police.

She had sent friends a WhatsApp message on Sunday saying she was home safe, but then reportedly sent another message expressing worry that someone had followed her to her stairwell.

Neighbors allegedly heard an argument and saw Pieper’s ex-boyfriend in the building, People Magazine reported.

Her ex was arrested on Monday by the Slovenian State Police after his car caught fire outside a casino near the border with Austria.

He was believed to have traveled by car to Slovenia many times prior to his arrest, according to Styrian State Police.

He was extradited to Austria on Friday after allegedly leading police to his slain ex’s body.

His father and brother have also been arrested.
