Pete Wicks has been supported by Jowita Przsytal as he declared ‘we’re back’ in a major update on one of his much-loved projects.
Fans of the reality star and podcast host know that he is a huge dog lover, which led to him getting his own show, Pete Wicks: For Dogs’ Sake.
The four-part rescue dog documentary for U+W, which was filmed at the Dogs Trust rehoming centre in Basildon, aired in January and followed Pete as he joined staff at the rehoming centre to give viewers a real look behind the scenes as they work tirelessly to find dogs loving forever homes.
It was then confirmed earlier this year that his show, Pete Wicks: For Dogs’ Sake, will be back for not only two more series but a Christmasspecial following the success of the debut series earlier this year.
In May, Pete said in an update: “We are back in the thick of it filming series 2 of For Dogs Sake with @dogstrust and I couldn’t be happier,” he shared.
“I can’t wait for you to see it later this year. It’s already been full of tears and laughter already, the best team and most important of all some unbelievable dogs…”
And now, series two is just days away from its return. Taking to Instagram on Monday (October 6), Pete shared a teaser for the upcoming series and told his followers: “We are BACK! This is your one week warning because the second series of @petewicksfordogssake is back on your screens from next Monday 13th October on @uandw_ – or you can stream it on @streamonu.

“Not only that but we now have an Instagram home so please share and follow this page @petewicksfordogssake for all FDS content and BTS! It’s a social media home for all things dogs!”
He added: “On a personal note, I am so proud and so excited for you all to see what I have been doing for the past 6 months working with @dogstrust and all the amazing staff there, this show is more than work, it’s my passion so your support would mean everything! So go follow @petewicksfordogssake and tell me what you think!”
Pete’s Strictly partner Jowita, who herself has been doing work for the Dogs Trust having been inspired by the former TOWIE star, was quick to reshare the clip to her Instagram Story and said: “Please follow @petewicksfordogssake [face holding back tears and heart emojis]. Can’t wait for new season!”
Meanwhile, fans were also delighted by the latest update. @ruthsshed said: “So looking forward to this! What more can we ask, gorgeous dogs, a great rescue, & you Pete!” @x.annie07.x commented: “I can’t wait!! i just know i’ll cry more at this series than the first.”
@deb.50h13 wrote: “Oh, I can’t wait! I know I am going to cry. Thank you, @p_wicks01 and @uandw_.” @caronc22 replied: “Cant wait. You are wonderful with every dog you meet and all the staff love you.” @michaelastafford18 added: “Can’t wait to watch this. Loved the last series so much.”
