After an eventful chat about breast implants, Jenna Bush Hager and Leanne Morgan kicked off Thursday’s broadcast of Today With Jenna & Friends to discuss the show-stopping dress Sydney Sweeney wore to Variety’s 2025 Power Of Women event. And they weren’t the only ones to take notice.

Bush Hager and Morgan spoke about how their hilarious discussion about Morgan’s breast implants went viral from the day before before they pivoting talk about Sweeney.

“Speaking of breasts,” Bush Hager began. “Sydney Sweeney is making headlines this morning with her latest red carpet look. Sydney appeared in this silver, sparking, totally sheer gown.”

They then shared an image of Sweeney in the Christian Cowan gown which was edited to blur the braless look for daytime television. But Bush Hager quickly called out the men in the studio for trying to get a glimpse of the dress.

“I notice how all of the men are all of a sudden looking at the monitors,” Bush Hager coyly pointed out before she continued with the segment.

When she asked Morgan how she felt about the “beautiful” dress, the comedian replied, “It does [look beautiful] and you know, that little thing’s got it. So, I would say, um, let her little light shine if she can before she can’t show those you-know-whats in a dress.”

“She looks gorgeous,” Bush Hager said before clarifying that the dress was “a little more sheer” in real life than depicted on the show, as they “blurred it for television.”

“I remember there was a picture of me when I was 19, laying out next to my sister and I remember thinking, ‘Don’t take my picture! I look terrible,’” she told Morgan. “And now I look back at that picture and I was like, ‘Dang, I look good!’ Do you know what I mean?”

Morgan said she felt the same way when she saw how “pretty” her legs used to look in high school. “I think that God didn’t want me to know that then because I would have used it for evil,” she joked. “I would have showed those legs too much. I don’t know. So, I think she needs to let that light shine is what I say.”

This chat was relatively mild compared to how Morgan candidly discussed why she opted to get breast implants.

On the show Tuesday, Morgan complained about how much her body changed after giving birth. She told Bush Hager that her breasts looked like “wadded up little tube socks with a marble in the bottom of them.”

“They’re supposed to [last 10 to 15 years] but [my husband] Chuck Morgan doesn’t like to spend money. So these were more like 25,” she explained.

Morgan then revealed that she later got her breasts “redone” before filming her Netflix sitcom, Leanne, after she worked with Reese Witherspoon on You’re Cordially Invited.
