Christina Applegate revealed she’s confined to her bed due to ongoing pain as she continues to battle multiple sclerosis.

The β€œMarried… with Children” alum made the heartbreaking confession while discussing how she still tries to take her daughter, Sadie, to school and other activitiesΒ during an interview with PeopleΒ published Tuesday.

β€œI want to take her; it’s my favorite thing to do. It’s the only time we have together by ourselves,” she said. β€œI tell myself, β€˜Just get her there safely and get home so you can get back into bed.’ And that’s what I do.”

Applegate, 54, shared that being restricted to her room has allowed her to be more unfiltered.

β€œMy life isn’t wrapped up with a bow,” she said. β€œPeople’s lives, sorry for lack of a better term, f–king suck sometimes. So I’m being as honest and raw as I possibly can.”

The β€œYou With Sad Eyes” authorΒ shares her 15-year-old with her husband,Β Martyn LeNoble, 56.

Applegate revealed that she wasΒ diagnosed with MS, aΒ disease that causesΒ weakness, numbness, difficulty walking and vision issues, in August 2021.

β€œIt’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a–hole blocks it,” she wrote via X.

Since then, the β€œDead to Me” star has periodically updated fans, revealing in August that she wasΒ hospitalized with β€œso much pain.”

At the time, Applegate explained to her β€œMeSsy Podcast” listeners that she was β€œscreaming” with pain and diagnosed with a kidney infection.

That same month, the actress shared how her condition has β€œbroken” her daughter.

β€œI see her look at me when I’m in bed and can’t quite move, or I wanna go say goodnight to her in her room, but I can’t quite get down the hallway for whatever reason that my legs aren’t working that day,” she said on her podcast.

β€œRight now I can barely get to bathroom, it’s the worst, but that’s neither here nor there,” Applegate added.

The β€œBad Moms” star explained her condition was similar to Sadie β€œlosing the mom she had,” describing her past self as β€œhealthy, and a runner, and a Pelotoner and a dancer.”

Sadie, however, has supported her famous mother by assisting her while out in public and with using her cane, Applegate said.
